How to solve the problem that it’s difficult for pastured sheep to grow fat?

1. Large amount of exercise

Pasture has its advantages,which is saving money and cost, and the sheep have a large amount of exercise and are not easy to get sick.

However, the disadvantage is that a large amount of exercise consumes a lot of energy, and the body does not have more energy for growth, so the sheep that are grazing are generally not fat or strong, especially in the environment where grazing is prohibited, and the grazing conditions in many places are not very good, then the growth effect will be poor;

2. Insufficient food intake

sheep have a lot of nutritional requirements, including dozens of vitamins and trace elements. Generally, it is difficult for sheep to be grazing to be nutritious. Especially in some areas with single grazing conditions, Sheep are prone to problems caused by lack of certain nutrients.

For example, calcium, phosphorus, copper, and vitamin D can promote bone growth, and iron, copper, and cobalt have great effects on hematopoiesis. Once they are lacking, will definitely affect growth;

Solution: It is recommended that farmers use premix for mixing and supplement feeding after going home at night. Adding vitamin premix or multivitamin soluble powder which contain vitamins, trace elements, minerals, and growth-promoting premix ALLIKE and other nutrients;

3. Deworming

Many people think that just giving a sheep an ivermectin injection is enough to deworm a sheep. For deworming, it is recommended to deworm in vitro, in vivo and blood protozoa at the same time, and it takes 7 days to repeat the deworming to complete the deworming. The following are the recommended deworming drugs for in vitro, in vivo:

Solution: Comprehensive deworming at all stages

(1) Ivermectin can drive off body parasites and some nematodes in the body.

(2) Albendazole or levamisole mainly drive internal parasites. It is effective on adults, but has limited effect on larvae. The first deworming is mainly on adults. The growth period from larvae to adult is 5-7 days, so it is necessary to re-drive once.

The grazing sheep need to be injected with closantel sodium injection, at 3-day intervals between each drug, and the feces are cleaned regularly to prevent repeated infection.

4. Strengthen the stomach and spleen

After deworming, the energy and nutrients of sheep will no longer be “stolen” by parasites, so they can have a good foundation for fattening and growth. The last step is to strengthen the stomach and spleen! This is a key step to improve digestion, absorption, transport and fertilization
