Properties
Povidone Iodine Solution is reddish brown liquid
Pharmacological action
Iodine-containing disinfectant. By releasing free iodine, it destroys the metabolism of bacteria, and has a good killing effect on bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Function
Disinfectant and antiseptic. This product is a broad-spectrum strong bactericidal disinfectant, which has a strong killing effect on viruses, bacteria, fungi and mold spores. This product is less irritating to the skin, has low toxicity, and has a long-lasting effect. It can be used for the disinfection of surgical sites and skin and mucous membranes; it can also be used for the disinfection of aquaculture water bodies to prevent and control aquaculture animals caused by Vibrio, Aeromonas hydrophila, Edwardsiella Bacterial diseases caused by etc. Safe and easy to use. It is basically non-irritating to tissues and is used for skin and mucous membrane disinfection, such as cleaning before surgery, disinfection of surgical sites and wounds.
Usage and Dosage
Calculated by povidone iodine.
Skin disinfection and treatment of skin diseases, 5% solution;
Milk cow teat soaking, 0.5%~1% solution;
Mucosal and wound flushing, 0.1% solution;
Water body disinfection, after diluting 300~500 times with water, sprinkle it all over the pool:
Treatment, one dose, 45~75mg per 1m3 of water, once every other day, 2~3 times in a row;
Prevention, 45~75mg per 1m3 water body, once every 7 days.
Adverse reactions
No adverse reactions have been seen in accordance with the prescribed usage and dosage.
Precautions
(1) It is forbidden for animals allergic to iodine.
(2) After rubbing the skin with iodine to disinfect small animals, it is advisable to use 70% alcohol to remove iodine to avoid foaming or inflammation.
(3) It should not be compatible with mercury-containing drugs.
(4) Disabled when the water is hypoxic.
(5) Do not store in metal containers
(6) Do not mix with strong alkaline substances and heavy metal substances.
(7) Cold water fish should be used with caution.
