Properties
Abamectin (Avermectin) pour on solution is a colorless to slightly yellow, slightly viscous transparent liquid.
Pharmacological effects
Avermectin (Abamectin) is an anti-nematode drug, which is effective against swine roundworms, strongyloides rubrum, strongyloides lansii, trichodonta esophagus nematodes, posterior strongyloides, coronaria dentata adults and immature worms. The repellent rate is 94%~100%, and it is not effective against Trichinella spiralis in the intestinal tract. It also has a good control effect on blood louse and scabies mites. It is not effective against flukes and tapeworms. In addition, as an insecticide, abamectin has broad-spectrum activity against aquatic and agricultural insects, mites and fire ants.
Drug interactions
Simultaneous use with ethamine may cause severe or fatal encephalopathy.
Indication and Usage
Antibiotic drugs. It is used to treat nematode diseases, mites and parasitic insect diseases of livestock.
Dosage
Pouring or rubbing: one time, per 1kg body weight, 0.1ml for cows and pigs, pouring from the shoulder to the back along the midline of the back. For dogs and rabbits, rub the inside of both ears.
Adverse reactions
According to the prescribed usage and dosage, no adverse reactions have been seen
Note
(1) Prohibited during lactation.
(2) Abamectin (Avermectin)is more toxic and should be used with caution. Shrimp, fish and aquatic organisms are highly toxic, so the packaged products of residual medicine should not pollute the water source.
(3) This product is not very stable in nature, especially sensitive to light, and can be quickly oxidized and inactivated. Pay attention to storage and use conditions
