Composition
This product contains:
Sulfadimidine sodium & Trimethoprim
Indication
General infections of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital trace caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial and Eimeria spp.
Poultry: Colibacillosis, fowl typhoid, enteritis, fowl cholera, salmonellosis, coryza,coccidiosis.
Calves, pigs: Colibacillosis(souring), salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, bronchitis, pleuropneumonia, mastitis-metritis-agalactia (MMA) syndrome, coccidiosis.
Dosage and Administration
Poultry:
60mg this product --1kg body weight.
100g this product --250L of drinking water.
Treatment interval in coccidiosis: 3 days drench--2 days water-3 days drench.
Calf, pigs:
30mg this product--1kg body weight twice daily.
1g this product --25-30kg body weight.
Dosage via drinking water in swine: 10g per 50Liter water.
Duration of treatment for all species:4-6 days.
Contraindications
Severe disturbances of liver or kidney function. Malfunction of the haematopoetic system. Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides
Warnings
To avoid renal lesions by crystalluria during treatment, adequate water intake has to be ensured, eventually the urine may be alkalized, Use in pregnant animals and new born requires strong indication.
